Advertising objectives

Website policy

We are fully aware of the technological advances and increasing popularity of the Internet and the potential for advertising that this brings. However, at present, there is nothing to suggest to us any advantage to advertise our services on-line. We are instead intending to provide information on-line to the advantage of our customers, or to their family and friends particularly if they do not live locally. They are not expected to surf (search) their way to the site but be directed to it by us.

General

• At no times is advertising paid for in advance of receiving a proof of advert.
• Adverts are to follow the standard image as set out in this memo, unless otherwise expressly decided.
• Adverts for Funeral Directing services are to follow the code of practice for Funeral Directors and all other adverts are to follow the advertising standards code of practice.
