Burials

We are very fortunate in this area to be able to have local burials.

Burials can be arranged for most churchyards (e.g. see St Bartholomew's Lower Cam Churchyard) or local council cemetery, including:

We also supply a wide range of headstones and can provide  Grave Maintenance Services.

Alternatively there area number of Woodland Burial Grounds.

Can I be buried on my own land?

Be it a garden or farm - you can be buried on your own land without the need for planning permission but there a number of considerations that you should be aware of. You should contact the Environment Agency, consider future plans for the land, e.g. what would happen if the house was sold and complete the relevant paperwork. We will be able to help you with this.
