Coffins

We are pleased to be able to offer a wide range of coffins and caskets. We will be happy to consider any particular request and aim to satisfy it as close as we can.

Traditionally, we have fitted coffins for men and women differently. We are pleased to continue this family tradition but are happy to decorate the coffin to your wishes subject to the regulations for cremation (if applicable).

There are many environmentally friendly options including a project of our own: “Sunset Coffins”.

Do you reuse coffins/handles at cremations?

Handles are not taken off and reused; the handles for cremations are made from material which can be cremated.

Do you reuse coffins?

Coffins are not reused either. Reusable coffins do exist but do not offer any significant savings and we do not feel offer any advantages.

I don’t want to use a coffin

A solid container of some description must be used for health and safety reasons; a body bag alone is not acceptable.
