Registrar appointments  

This must be done within 5 working days of the date of death by the next of kin or appropriate representative – if you are not immediate family please check.  You will have to make an appointment for one of the following register offices. If it is more convenient, for example if you do not live locally, you can contact a register office local to you to make a “Registration by declaration” but this is more complicated and will take longer.
